"The older women must train the younger women to love their husbands and their children, to live wisely and be pure, to take care of their homes, to do good, and to be submissive to their husbands. Then they will not bring shame on the word of God." Titus 2: 4-5

When in Rome...
A Roman Feast at our daughter's House...Yesterday our grandaughter, graduated with honors from Kindergarten. Our daughter has home schooled her along with her other children and the graduation ceremony was such a blessing. She beamed and looked intently into her daddy's eyes as he spoke words of wisdom and blessing over her. He told how she was such a JOY to their family. Her mom and dad then prayed over her. What a joy for us to see our grandchildren raised in the knowledge of Jesus as their Savior. She was excited to receive her first real Bible. She hugged it and nearly wept with joy as she has waited a long time for this. In this family you must know how to read before receiving a real Bible and she learned the basics of reading this year in kindergarten. The evening was celebrated with a Roman feast which celebrated the end of a Unit on Rome by the two oldest boys. Several of us came attired in togas and stollas and other appropriate garb and enjoyed a Roman meal prepared by the host family. Two of our sons and their families also joined the clebration. We are BLESSED!
