"The older women must train the younger women to love their husbands and their children, to live wisely and be pure, to take care of their homes, to do good, and to be submissive to their husbands. Then they will not bring shame on the word of God." Titus 2: 4-5
You still look beautiful to me, Mary Beth! Amazing how your inward beauty shines through like a beacon of light in this trial of faith. Thanks for sharing your updates. We will continue to pray...
It is only for a little while . It will all grow back and maybe it will be naturally curly next time. It's a bummer....but God will make a way. I'm right behind you...and beside you through it all. Love you, Carol Lynn
"Oh Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I'm far away. You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do. You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord. You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand!... ...Each day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered!" Ps. 139
Precious friend, He knows! He loves you! He cares!
"For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, works for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen– for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal." 2 Cor. 4:17, 18
Marybeth - When I was down (wow, it will be 10 years this April) you and Dave sent me a verse that I clung to while I was recovering. I don't know if the verse I selected will help at all - I don't presume to have a glimmer of what it must be like - but I certainly hope that you keep your mindset and faith (especially) focused on His love and healing.
I hope you don't mind, but I've been keeping my sister informed (since she doesn't have internet yet!)
